OUR FRAMEWORKS
At MoreThanATalk, our frameworks turn conversation into action.
Each model is designed to be practical, flexible, and human-centered — supporting
emotional awareness, accountability, and values-aligned growth across individuals, teams,
and organizations.
Our frameworks are not scripts — they are structured pathways that help people move
from avoidance to alignment, from reflection to action.
The frameworks shared here are original models developed through MoreThanATalk. They are designed to support growth, reflection, and meaningful conversations across spaces.

YES / HARD – Conversation Framework
YES / HARD supports individuals and groups in preparing for and engaging in meaningful
conversations — especially when emotions are high or avoidance feels easier.
YES focuses on awareness and intention:
• You – Understanding how the conversation impacts you, others, and the environment
• Emotions – Identifying emotional responses and grounding them in clarity
• Spaces – Choosing the most supportive time and setting for dialogue
HARD focuses on action and direction:
• Helpful – Determining whether the conversation supports growth or resolution
• Authentic – Leading with honesty and values alignment
• Relevant – Assessing urgency and timing
• Direction – Clarifying desired outcomes or next steps
Outcomes:
YES / HARD helps participants:
• Build confidence entering difficult conversations
• Reduce avoidance patterns
• Communicate with clarity and emotional regulation
• Strengthen relational trust
This framework is commonly used in coaching sessions, mediation work, leadership
development, and restorative dialogue spaces.
CONVO – Behavior & Decision-Making Framework
CONVO supports reflection, responsibility, and growth around behavior, choices, and
impact. It is used with both youth and adults, with language adapted to developmental and
organizational contexts.
Framework Elements:
• Choices – Understanding options and consequences
• Ownership – Taking responsibility for behavior and impact
• Negate the Negative – Interrupting harmful or unhelpful patterns
• Values – Identifying guiding beliefs and priorities
• Obstacles – Addressing barriers to growth and change
Outcomes:
CONVO helps participants:
• Strengthen decision-making skills
• Build accountability without shame
• Align behavior with personal and organizational values
• Develop emotional and social awareness
This framework is frequently integrated into school partnerships, youth development programs, coaching engagements, and behavioral reflection processes.

DO MORE – Action & Integration Framework
DO MORE ensures that insight does not end with conversation — it continues through
intentional action.
This framework supports individuals and teams in translating reflection into sustained
behavioral and cultural change.
Framework Elements:
• Decide – Identify a clear focus, goal, or commitment
• Observe – Notice patterns, behaviors, and triggers
• Model – Practice aligned behaviors
• Organize – Build systems and support structures
• Re‑engage & Reflect – Revisit growth and adjust strategies
• Eliminate & Evaluate – Remove barriers and assess progress
Outcomes:
DO MORE helps participants:
• Sustain growth beyond training or coaching sessions
• Build accountability systems
• Strengthen leadership follow‑through
• Embed cultural and behavioral change
This model is often used in leadership intensives, organizational partnerships, and post‑training implementation planning.
HOW THE FRAMEWORKS WORK TOGETHER
While each framework can stand alone, they are most powerful when integrated:
YES/HARD
builds awareness and readiness for conversation
CONVO
supports accountability and values‑based reflection
DO MORE
ensures growth is sustained through action
Together, they create a restorative, practical ecosystem for communication, behavior change, and leadership development.
